IT Systems Support Specialist

Location: La Mesa, CA (On-site)

Department: Information Technology

Type: Full-Time | Exempt

Compensation: $70,000 – $85,000 base salary (commensurate with experience) + Benefits + Bonus Eligibility

We’re looking for an  IT Support Specialist to be the go-to expert for end-user support, system maintenance, and secure computing practices. What You’ll Do

  • Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and phones 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) 
  • Manage user accounts, group policies, and endpoint security tools. 
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint devices and software 
  • Support IT compliance tasks and assist with vendor documentation 
  • Onboarding employees and rolling out new systems 
  • Maintain accurate inventory of hardware/software and track end-of-life (EOL) assets 
  • Contribute to a secure IT environment through patch management, antivirus monitoring, and alert monitoring. 

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of hands-on IT support experience, ideally in a regulated or professional services environment 
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, VPNs, and help desk ticketing systems 
  • Excellent troubleshooting, multitasking, and communication skills 
  • Solid understanding of IT security principles, including patch management, antivirus / IDS monitoring, and vulnerability management. 
  • A client-service mindset with a proactive, detail-oriented approach 
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work independently with minimal supervision 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field 
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or similar 
  • Experience in the financial or banking industry is a plus
