Job Title: IT Specialist

Remote

Weekly virtual check-ins and in-person meetings at least once every other month are required

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).

Technical Proficiency:

a. Designing accessible digital experiences using UI/UX design principles and natural language processing techniques to enhance user interaction.

b. Integrating multimodal communication channels via cross-platform APIs to deliver seamless digital experiences.

c. Services and techniques such as:

• Generative AI
• RAG
• RPA
• Zapier

d. Programming languages, including:

• C#
• CSS
• HTML
• JavaScript (including Node.js)
• PHP
• Python
• SQL

e. GitHub

• The selected IT Specialist must possess demonstrable experience and proficiency in utilizing GitHub. This includes familiarity with core GitHub functions and the ability to effectively leverage it as a resource for project and product development.

f. Social Media Platforms to ensure sharing is possible when appropriate.

Professional Experience Required:

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development, systems integration, and web development.

Project Management Experience:

Familiarity with project management methodologies and techniques to contribute to the progression of the project.

Experience with Agile project management preferred, but other methodologies will be considered.

API & Integration Expertise:

Demonstrated ability to develop, integrate, and maintain APIs and digital tools, ideally for legal or law firm-related projects.

Project Management and Communication:

Demonstrated ability to coordinate with vendors and multidisciplinary teams, effectively communicate technical processes, and translate strategic principles into actionable tasks.

System Architecture Knowledge:

A comprehensive understanding of system architectures-including integration, secure design principles, data security, and privacy standards.

Expertise & Experience Required:

1. Demonstrated expertise in relevant services, platforms, and programming languages, including the ability to write, evaluate, and integrate code:
   • Services and Techniques:
     Generative AI
     RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
     RPA (Robotic Process Automation)
     Zapier
   • Platforms:
     Experience with multiple development platforms and commercial systems (non-proprietary).
   • Programming Languages:
     C#
     CSS
     HTML
     JavaScript (including Node.js)
     PHP
     Python
     SQL
2. Strong understanding of system architectures and platform integration.
3. Expertise in accessible UI/UX design and natural language processing.
4. Multimodal channel integration using cross-platform APIs.
5. Experience with SDK kits and platform customization.
6. Software design and development experience, including:
   • Frontend and Backend Architectures
7. Strong troubleshooting skills:
   • Identifying bottlenecks, hangs, and coding issues
   • Handling null interpreted data
   • Cross-platform testing
8. Strong project management and vendor coordination skills.
9. Clear communication ability in both technical and non-technical terms.

Service Requested:

1. Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with Legal Server.
2. Create and maintain tools including API scripts.
3. Aggregate and integrate multiple development platforms, with performance optimization.
4. Customize and integrate commercial platforms to meet specific needs.
5. Deliver client-facing and staff-facing web development services.
6. Conduct testing and quality assurance.
7. Ensure compliance with all data security and privacy standards.
8. Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders.
9. Manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
10. Prepare documentation and reports as required.
11. Develop user-friendly documentation for post-project maintenance.
12. Create a long-term maintenance plan and cost estimate.
