Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary financial partner to divisional leadership, providing financial insights and performance updates.
• Lead the annual operating plan , monthly forecast , and month-end close process .
• Oversee capital budgeting strategy and planning , ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate investments, cost drivers, and operational trends.
• Support divisional capital planning and provide financial consultation for capital expenditure requests.
• Partner with key stakeholders such as American Airlines Regional Finance/Capital and PSA’s Shared Services Organization (SSO) to ensure financial compliance.
• Lead, develop, and mentor finance and payroll teams , identifying strengths and opportunities for growth.
• Conduct post-mortem analyses of capital investments to assess financial performance against projections.
• Provide financial and analytical support during commercial contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Maintenance Planning teams to align labor and provisioning forecasts with budget targets.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitive performance , applying insights to enhance financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with Safety Management System (SMS) requirements for the Finance department.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance .
• 4-6 years of experience in accounting, finance, or corporate planning.
• 3-5 years of management or project leadership experience .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn financial systems (e.g., Sage, MAS, Hyperion).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and develop teams.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective interaction at all levels of management.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred:

• MBA or CPA certification .
• In-depth knowledge of commercial and regional aviation financial operations .
