Your role and responsibilities

Customer Support Specialist positions offered by ABB INC. (Miami, Florida). Responsible for providing internal and external customer support and coordinating with the relevant stakeholders to have complete case ownership and increase end-user satisfaction for the business in the energy, automation and technology industry for low voltage products. Responsible for further establishing our reputation as a company that offers excellent customer support during all sales and after-sales procedures. Review and analyze as well as develop solutions for customer specifications. Monitor the life cycle of a project and large sales orders, ensuring that all stages are carried out efficiently and within established deadlines. General monitoring of the operation in search of deviations and proposing solutions. Develop project execution, communicate with stakeholders, and monitor plans. Communicate all relevant and essential information to end customers and local ABB offices in Latin America and the USA, providing quality service and developing and maintaining a vast knowledge of the services being offered. Administrative knowledge to operate in the panel builder, distributors, OEM, and internal sales segments.

Qualifications for the role

  • Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in business administration or a related field and 8 years of experience in the position offered or 8 years of experience providing customer support in energy, automation and technology industry for low voltage products. Also requires 8 years of experience: using SAP and e-business platforms; performing drop shipment order management from different locations in energy, automation and technology industry for low voltage products; and providing customer support for Latin American customers. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience as stated, employer will accept 10 years of experience as stated. Requires 5 years of experience serving as a key user in the SAP system in the SD module. Requires 4 years of experience implementing Incoterms and trade practices with Latin America; and managing project delivery. Position reports to Miami, FL office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
