What Makes The Geneva Suites Different?

Shifts Available: Full-Time - 7am - 7pm working every other weekend
Wage Range: $20.00 - $22.00 (DOE & certifications)

What you'll do each day as a Float Care Partner:

• Being flexible with daily house assignment as you'll float between our 7 homes as needed for coverage (Bloomington, Burnsville, Eagan, Eden Prairie & Edina)
• Help residents live with dignity and independence by assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Administer medications and assist with treatments under RN delegation.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, behaviors, and conditions.
• Document care provided in RTasks, our electronic charting system.
• Engage with residents – Whether reading, chatting, or reminiscing, your presence matters.
• Keep the home safe and welcoming – Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep.
• Be ready for anything – Recognize and respond to emergencies with confidence.

What we look for in a Float Care Partner (Qualifications):

• 1+ year of care giving experience that includes use of hoyers & sit-stands, preferably in an Assisted Living setting or nursing home
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and current insurance
• Ability to take initiative and use sound judgement in high pressure situations
• A heart for caring and a passion for helping others.
• Previous caregiving experience (preferably in assisted living).
• Dependability – Ability to work a consistent schedule, including every other weekend.
• Strong communication skills – Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Patience, kindness, and a willingness to be part of a team that supports each other.
• CNA/HHA certification preferred but not required

WORKING CONDITION REQUIREMENTS  

Sit, Stand, Walk, Bend/Stoop, Squat, Crawl. Reach above shoulder, reach below shoulder level, Lift, Carry, Push, Pull Maximum 50 lbs. – Continually, Over 50 lbs. - Frequently
